Ok, so I am setting a date for our dinner:

Monday, January 15 at 8PM
Santo Domingo - Adrian Tropical en el Malecon
(Restaurant is flex - any other ideas?)

I've gotten ok's from some of favorite DR1 people already:

Since Adrian Tropical in the Malecon is now an alcohol free establishment. Does this mean we have to bring our own?

PS bringing a couple of bottles of my favorite bordeaux (Ch?teau Lafite)

I will be there during that time and would like to meet some SD dr1 folks. Robert is the only one I have ever met in all the time I have spent in the DR.

if there is alcohol involved. Sorry,,,, can't bring myself to have Mondongo or chivo or any Dominican dish, specially in the DR without a Presidente.

Please don't let it be too late,, must drive back to Juan Dolio after.

Chiri - if the alcohol thing is the same everywhere - I'll much rather go to the malecon one then. The view is amazing and I just love that place!
