I?m traveling to Puerto Plata in late May and staying for two weeks, I will be traveling with my dog a miniature schnauzer, continental airlines will allow me to travel with the dog but I will need a veterinarian to check him before coming back to the states ? since I'll be there for 10 days.

Can anyone recommend a veterinarian in the area?

Thanks!

if you have already a vet certificate from the US before you leave (which you need for DR customs), I thought this would be enough. I didn't know you need another one to get back into the US. This is news to me.
