Hey everyone
I'm going to be spending this summer in Cabarete. I'm ready to buy my ticket, I'm going to fly down without agenda. I'm planning 3 months, hoping to find a job at a club/bar/resturant/anything in the city, find somewhere cheap and uncomfortable to live, and have myself a jolly time. I'm a 21 yo college student/kiteboarder from the midwest.
I'm wondering just a few things, though I know they might have complicated answers. First, how busy is it in that area throughout the summer months? How much difficulty will I have in finding a job? And how easy/difficult will it be for me to travel cheaply? I'd guess I'd have the best luck to find a group of people down there to travel with, but I just don't want to spend my entire time ONLY in Cabarete-- I'd like to see a lot of the country.
any comments/suggestions/warnings/anything would be great. I've never done travelling like this and will be doing it solo... I'm excited. thanks everyone
