Decameron club and casino

Has anyone stayed at the Decameron Club and Casino in Juan Dolio in the last three months? I read a review by Beatriz, but it was written just as the Barcelo group was taking over. I am curious as to what the current conditions there are. I would like any information about the views and balconies in the Tower rooms. Also, I note that the description of the facility at this site states that it is several blocks from the beach, but our travel agent states it's ON the beach. Could someone please clarify for me? Thank you.
