Coconut Palms Resort in Cabarete?

Hi Everyone!
Does anyone have any information on this resort? Is it near the action? I hear that Cabarete is a strip and most of the action is on the beach (as far as the food and drink are concerned)....is this resort walking distance? Thanks!

Coconut Palms is a nice place, but not within walking distance to town. You'd need to take a cab (probably around $5) or public transportation...unless you *REALLY* like to walk ;)
