I will be in the Juan Dolio area the weekend of 1/19 and was wondering if there is anything special goiing on that weekend. I have never stayed in this area before so I am not familiar with any of the popular spots or any of the things to do. Please let me know if you know where I can do any of the following: rent jet skis or water skiing, rent 4 wheelers to ride around the area, take a tour around the area, night clubs for late partying, and anything else that might be fun. Also, I plan to buy some propery in the Villas Del Mar area so if you know if any nice projects/opportunities please let me know as well so I can take a look at those as well.

Thanks in advance!

Check out the pictures on this site: JuanDolio's photos and albums on webshots. If you do a search on DR1 for the posts from the south coast you will find the link. You will also find with your search some places to go in Juan Dolio. I am not sure about jet skis and I have never seen water skiing in JD. A couple of places you could go at night are Guilla's Cafe on Calle Blvd. or the Chocolate Bar next to Costa Caribe. I don't think late night is possible either since the country has a ban on late night openingss now. The latest a place would be open is at Costa Caribe at the Sports bar or the Casino. You could get a night pass to fo there and party later. If you check out the webshots I mentioned at the top of the post you will find tons of property to buy on Calle Blvd. The building is tremendous in that area of JD. The beach has just been all redone too so that is a big improvement! Be sure to let us know how you like the "New" Juan Dolio.

No water skiing, no jet skis. No discos - although possible El Currican on the main road. 4 wheels available at Faenza rent a car on the BOulevard beach road. You can horse ride and dive. So many apts for sale just ake a walk down villas del Mar and you can visit at least 20 different opportunities. Worth talking to Sue in Freedom Bar - Brit, but bar has many Americans and Canadians. if you need to know anything else let me know.
