I know this topic likely becomes old on this board but I just want to make sure I'm making a good decision...

Heading to Cabarete in March for fun, sun, surf, and other activities (Iguana Mama!). It will be two girls and possibly a couple other friends, so far it looks like Hotel Kaoba is our best bet. Seems affordable and most have said it's nice, there is a safety box and it appears close to everything. Any suggestions on which type of room, as they have a few categories? We aren't fussy but we'd appreciate a clean place.

Thanks everyone for all the help in planning this trip :)

I stayed there in October, pretty nice. I'd suggest the rooms on the 2nd floor facing the street (I think they are the junior suites, if I'm not mistaken). They're pretty roomy, have a balcony facing the pool, small kitchenette and A/C is great too.

Have fun!:bunny: :bunny:

We've stayed there many times. It's really the best hotel of it's kind in Cabarete. For the price it's outstanding and for women traveling togeather, it very safe and the elect. is 24/7.
