My building is in the process of buying a motor to automate our new gate. We have three similar quotes -- around RD$120,000.

The companies are STPG Serivce that sells a NICE ROBUS 600 Motor,
Dussich Servicen that sells a CAME BK motor
Metrotec, C. por A. that sells a Roger-Move motor.

All are Italian-made.

Anyone have any experience with these companies, or can suggest what we should look for in a motor. The specs seem pretty much the same for the three motors.

120,000 Seems High To Me!

You might get a quote from "Mafra Corp."
I paid less than 1000 dollars for my gate opener. Maybe you are getting 50 remote controls with yours! CC

CAME is a good brand

Corrections. We need two doors -- one "batiente" and the other "corrediza" (sliding). The batiente door is more expensive. And we need 29 controls! That is why the quote is higher.

CAME is a French brand.

CAME is a French brand.
It isn't.
CAME was founded in Italy in 1972 and it's there where they still have the main office and their largest production factory (near Treviso).
We use a CAME motor for powering our gate and we are very content with the product.
