I visit playa bonita everytime i visit my friends in las terrenas. March 2005, march 2006 august 2006 and nov/dec 2006. I am going back in march. In august I was there and saw some great waves one day when there were storms and came back to new jersey and got waves from the same storm taht was around my last day in the dr. My question is are there any other beaches close by with nice waves. In march they did not seem to be so bad but they were nothing like august. In nov/dec the water in las terrenas was not still when i went to the beach. I wonder why it was not clear blue and calm. Is it always like that in nov/dec? I am so psyched I am going march 5th - march 28th. I just body surf I do not use a board.
