Will it be difficult to move to DR with my dog? Does the country where my dog was born make the process harder or eaier? I am moving to DR from Brazil.

Easy

The DR doesn't care where your dog was born, they only care that the dog has a current health inspection and you pay the fees associated with the importation of the dog.

The biggest problem you'll have is finding an airline to transport the dog in cargo (I'm assuming the dog can not fit under the seat in front of you).

We ended up having our dogs shipped via cargo from Miami using a company called Amerijet. I would highly recommend them as our dogs were well treated and the price was very reasonable.

Assuming you can make satisfactory arrangements with the airline to
transport your dog from Brazil to the DR you will have no problems bringing
your dog with you as long as he/she has an up to date health certificate.
Suggest you check with the consulate in Brazil to determine if the certificate
has to be consularized.
We broudht our dog with us last April from the USA and all that was required
was a Veterinarins health certificate and the payment of 300 pesos when
we arrived.
Good Luck and Welcome to the DR.
