I've heard that schools in DR could really do with some help from abroad, like equipment. Can't find the website where I read this though. As I'm a teacher I'd like to bring over supplies when I come in April. Can anyone tell me how I can contact a school which is in need? I'll be staying in the Bavaro region. I've also read that kids stay off school to hang around waiting for goodies from tourists on buses, so I don't want to do it that way! Hope someone can help. Mags
