long term parking fees at pop airport??

Hello airline / airport experts. I need to know if I can leave my car at POP airport for a week, how much does it cost daily, is it safe to leave the car there, any security at night etc?
I have heard that its free, is that true?

Thanks howmar. I need to know if there will be any security guard to watch the cars at night? I hope my car will not be the only one there in the lot at night.

There is no security guard, and it's not a gated area.
You can leave your car with us in Sosua, if you like.

Parking at the airport is safer than a public road. The safest way to park is to park in a 'no parking' area, get your car towed, and pay the RD$250 per day when you wanna pick it up!! Now that is safe. It's right behind the garrita, peaje when entering. But no responsibility of the airport if your belongings get taken should you leave them in the vehicle.
It is patrolled regularly. Where else can you park for about $7.50 US per day?
