Considering a late June/early July trip to Samana area of DR, but concerned about weather at that time of year. Other than January to April, it seems that it's wet much of the year in the DR, which probably accounts for its lush appearance. What kind of weather should I expect at that time of year as far as rain? When it rains, is it a brief shower or an all day downpour. I know that weather is always changeable but still trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance for any info
