bavaro furniture?

just bought a condo near bavaro punta cana area. any tips on where to buy furniture at a reasonable cost. looking for durable but not high end. also need tv and microwave. any way of shopping online? how do stores require payment? cash or credit card? do most stores offer delivery? live in us and plan to come to dr in march to furnish and organise condo. thanks for any advice.

Most condos in the area are sold furnished because there is little available locally. There are a couple of places in "town" but your best bet is to go to Higuey or even Santo Domingo. They will deliver to Punta Cana. As for purchasing on line - as far as I know its hard to give them a delivery address. As you know, the streets are just starting to be named now and there is no mail service. Some businesses here are able to get Fedex deliveries but.........
