DR is a very good vacation spot all over the country. outside of Ponce, Mayaguez and San Juan i never really found a lot of tourists. Ponce is in the south, very nice, not tourists-filled. Mayaguez on the west coast has a mix bag. it mainly consists of PR's, dominicans and haitians. San Juan tourist areas consist of Isla Verde, Condado and the old San Juan area. there is a saying among some people who visit PR that "there is a J-Lo on every corner" in PR....:laugh: that would be Jennifer Lopez....
