i have been to cabarete twice now and am in love with the place. i want to go back for a month or two this summer and was wondering if anyone knew about how easy/hard it is to get a job. unfortunately i don't think my skills are transferrable there (i have a degree in music) and i definitely can't teach surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing which would be ideal but sadly i am not good enough at any of them. (part of the reason i want to go is to get better at surfing) does anyone know what kind of job i'd be able to get? waitressing, working at a surf shop etc? early twenties and just looking for a way to be able to spend a few months there...any suggestions would be helpful!

If you can't afford to do this without finding a job, go there for a holiday and see if you can find some work.

Apparently, opportunities often arise simply by meeting people who may not necessarily be advertising for help, especially if you are a pretty chica with a nice personality.

Good luck.
