Hey all I have posted here before.
I am a single 25 year old guy coming down to the DR. I will be spending some time in santiago and then coming up north and I want to spend some time on really beautiful beaches. I heard of Rio San Juan and Playa grande as being really remote beautiful and pristone beaches which i will definitely be checking out, but I am going to be travelling alone so I may get bored there?
I am going to be in DR from March 9th -18th.
I heard that Caberete is more of a fun, young, and hip spot to meet other travellers and locals.
But my real question i was wondering was whether the beaches and the water were as CALM pristine and beautiful as Rio San jUan? Are the waves too big in Caberete, and is there crystal clear water there? Is the sand really fine and powdery.
Is it a really touristic place like Punta Cana or is it more of a locals place. I dont really like too much touristic places.
