i've enjoyed my stays here. The resort is small, you can get to any place on the resort in a couple of minutes. There is one buffet restaurant and 3 a la carte which you must make reservations for. The rooms are OK third floor rooms having vaulted ceilings.Building 7 is the newest which opened last year with jaccuzi's in the room and some with them on the balcony as well, and this building also has it's own pool but the main pool has a swim up bar. There is a casino on the property which opened last year as well. This hotel is located 20 mins from the airport and is isolated from the bulk of hotels in PC which are on Bavaro beach. The two hotels next to the PC Grand are the Allegro then the Natura Park. South of PCG is the Catalonia so you can figure out where you are on the map > Cabeza de Toro. Not much to do at night except what is at the resort or if you wish a taxi ride to the Bavaro area and there are disco's there that are for locals and other tourists.I found the service to be very good and friendly. There is a disco and piano bar on the property as well as nightly entertainment. If you want a place to soak up the sun, relax and take things in stride then this hotel is for you.If your looking for a 5 * property then look elsewhere.Of all my travels to this hotel I was never sick from the food or anything else.If you have any more ???'s I might answer for you please ask away.
