As it doesn't appear to have been mentioned elsewhere, people might be interested to know that Metro & Caribe Tours now run from Santiago to Cabarete. The CT stop/office is in the new plaza on the same side as the Esso Station, about 200yrds closer to town. RD$100 single with CT, I think it is RD$150 with Metro but I'm not sure.
