Thumbs up New Sushi Bar - Pravda

I took a look while they was finishing construction and it looks amazing.
Franco that posts on DR1 is the owner and has done a fine job.

Tonight (Monday) they have a soft opening, so if your about go check it out.

Nah, that'll be the "Arabian" restaurant down the road.

Where is it? I know you can't cross Naco these days without tripping over a sushi bar, but I don't think I've noticed this one.

I'll think you will find that has more to do with the owner than sushi

As long as it's a great place, who cares? Plus, most locals will refer to it by name and will not take any notice of the origins of the name.

    Arrow the meaning of "pravda"

For the record, "pravda" is Russian for "truth." It was also the name of a Soviet era national newspaper.

That completes my useless trivia quotient for today.

Looks great!! Im often amazed that in a city as "crazy" as SD, there are so many high-end/trendy/excellent bars and restaurants... my favorites are Sophia's and Porterhouse...

The funniest part about it is that there was almost no word of truth written in that "Pravda" paper . So, it looks like a humorous sort of name for a place to eat ...
