Hi All!
Can someone please HELP me???
I ma taking my two dogs to Punta Cana.
Just got to Puerto Rico from Spain to pack my things and get the pet paperwork in order.
Before I left I asked what the entry requirement for pets were.
I was told just a health certificate.

Now I am told it is a health certificate issued within 72 hours before the flight
-& that I need to get them vaccinated 1 month before???

So now I am checking on line and see that they quarantine dogs if the requirements are not met- and that the papers have to be validated by a cosulate office.

I have been on the phone all day calling the consulate in Puerto Rico
-and as always, it's either the wrong #'s or out of service.

Does anyone have these numbers?
Does anyone know who exactly to contact about this????
PLEASE, either US or DR phone, someone just help me.

These 2 chihuahuas have travleed with me everywhere, in many countries, and I have never met with so much difficulties!

They have to have all their shots. If ypur in PR they must have otherwise the would be in Qur. Go to a vet. have them checked. Get a Well Dog Cert. That should be al you need. You need the cert. within 72 hrs of travel. This is what we have don't hope this helps.
