On Saturday March 24th, the animal protection agency PADELA held a vaccination campaign at their ?someday to be completed? animal refuge in Manoguayabo. The event was a big success with over 200 cats and dogs receiving vaccinations. Attending the event was Anne Ostberg from the Pegasus Foundation, a private U.S. foundation that strives to protect animal welfare. Mrs. Ostberg was in the Dominican Republic meeting with animal rights organizations in hopes of helping with funding and/or ideas.
