does anyone know how much it would cost to ship a vehicle to Santo Domingo from the States?

I'm trying to figure out if it would be better for me to leave my car here when I move, or to bring it with me...

Anyone had any experience with something like this?

I am a lawyer and drive a 2007 Volvo SUV (40K car)....I do not need the car in DR when I move, BUT I would like it if it is not too expensive to ship or too much of a hassle.

Any suggestions?

I am 95% sure I will not bring my car...but when I saw this post, I thought I would ask.

If you are serious about the 7000US tax on importing a car...NEVERMIND!!! I will take apolo taxi everything...thank you very much!!!;)
