Rental car Punta Cana(PUJ) airport

Any suggestions on good rental car companies??

I am staying at a resort but want to show my husband the real DR- boca de yuma, la romana, higuey, etc...

Also, where can I get a good map of this area. It has been over 15 years since I have been to these places.

Not much going yet is there. You could try putting this on the East Coast or the South

Off the top of my head, in the area you've got Budget, Avis, Europcar and several private companies. However, I would recommend you get a driver to show you around if it's been that long... especially since the roads are horrible these days, riddled with holes.
