In the U.S.A. there are some restriction when carrying conceal waepons, No alcohol in your body, Not in fedreal buildings, Not in schools, Not at parades, Not in places where alcohol is consumed. Are there many restrictions here in the DR., and if there are where would I find these laws? I would not carelessly want to break any infraction or law.

You can't carry where alcohol is served. As for public places there usually is a sign No Armas.

They basically enforce these rules in Discos or Stadiums.

One more thing. To carry a gun legally here you need two licenses. One for the gun and one to carry.

The one to carry is called: Addendum Autorizado Para Porte

If you don't have this they will take your weapon and you go to jail.

And to get a gun permit you need to be either a Citizen or a Permanent Resident, not a Provisional Resident.

Every gun carry permit in the Dominican Republic (Addendum Autorizado Para Porte) is for Concealed carry only. Open carry is not allowed in the Dominican Republic at all (only Officers of the army forces and the police WHEN they have their uniform).
What about a shotgun permit?
