thanks for the good wishes all. i had aortic valve replacement and double bypass....for those who've sent pm's. i feel like i've been hit by a large bus, which is normal i'm told. i have several wonderful friends who are taking shifts to care for me. my daughter took a pic of me after the surgery and we commented on how old i looked. she said, "it beats the alternative". yes, virginia it does.
