Hi there everyone,
This may be a dumb question, but is there anything in the water in regards to ocean-life that travellers should be aware of? I have gotten stung by a jellyfish before, and it hurt! Thus far I have only heard of those blue jellyfish (man-o-war) that are a threat in lets say the Playa Dorada area. I was probably leaning toward stingrays, or sharks....I know when we went to the Gulf of Mexico, we were told to shuffle our feet while walking in water since stingrays would get scared and less chance of you getting stung yourself.
So, anything travellers should be aware of? Any shark bites recently?
