We will be a the Ocean Bavaro next week and are wondering how the snorkelling is there? Is there a reef? If so, how far off the shore is the reef? How is the water clarity? Is there much of a current? Any other comments or suggestions are appreciated.
Facing the ocean, walk to the right. The first hotel you come to (small beachfront) is Aliso, I believe. Ask for Christophe. He gives private snorkeling excursions. Very reasonable and fun! (his boat is called Dignora.)
