My boat is in club de haina just outside of the capital. the river is called rio haina i see all kinds of 20-60 lb tarpon rolling and gulping but, have not caught any. if you want when you come we can give it a try.
A river down in the east coast is close to san pedro de macorix before romana and close to cumayasa try the flats near the boca (yetty) river have a big sand bars sometimes close but we have pull 150 to 200lb tarpon before lots of fun. Ron!
Capt.Rob here do you fish from a boat there and if so can you give me better directions as to how to get into there or who I could talk to about renting a yola for the day. To far to take my boat I have no trailer.
