Description:
The International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) established in 2001 is recognized worldwide as the market leader in kiteboarding instructor training and creating safety standards for the kiteboard industry. We develop manuals, books Dvd?s, and other kiteboard related products and services such as insurance and equipment.

The IKO is seeking a full time person that has some background in accounting and day to day office book keeping for accounts receivable and accounts payable. The position involves processing payments and ensuring bank wire transfers and Paypal payments are properly received and processed and orders are shipped from our distribution points. Controlling and maintaining the inventory for the IKO products on an as needed basis- as orders are processed -this involves reordering stock from our suppliers. This position also requires the individual to manage on-hand cash that comes into the office for day to day office management and bill payments such as Fedex, and office utility bills. The IKO invoices in 4 currencies (Pesos, US dollars, GB pounds, and Euros) depending on the product and the market.

The insurance product is a staple in the IKO business and thus the candidate will maintain relationship with the underwriter and clarify any concerns or comments that come in from the sale and use of the insurance products.

Candidate profile requirements:
A self starter with the ability to work independently within a small office environment. This person is analytical and methodical in their approach attention to detail is crucial in this role. The role requires the person to be a team player that is interactive and takes initiative. Supporting customers through the order process requires customer service skills, and the ability to have strong clear concise communication skills.

Computer skills:
Quick Books (Accounting software)
Microsoft office skills (Word and Excel)
Cube cart (online payment system)
Requirements:
French and English (Spanish optional but a good asset)
