DR1.com made the front page of the Diario Libre newspaper!!

DR1.com is quoted as the source of the news that companies like Pier 1 and Ikea are planning to establish stores in the capitol of Santo Domingo.

The story talks about the DR becoming a major shopping center for Latin America.....

Interesting, huh??

I notice that DR1 is referenced in most of the Dominican newspapers and news sites online. Can you provide us with the link to that article? Actually I heard of quite a few interesting developments planned for the DR in the future (tourim, entertainment, information technology, etc.). I hope they will actually be implemented.

I spotted it this morning, was going to post a link, but sometimes I have the attention span of a senile goldfish.

DL is a bit slow on the uptake, though. I think DR1 ran that item over a week ago.
