In the quest for a good water filter, I found the following system,

Crystal Clear: Don't drink the water

Certainly for DR use a distiller is the way to go, but electric..............

Anyway, this system being sold on the above link makes a lot claims seems to be al lot of scientific mumbo jumbo about aligning molecules etc, essentially rebuilding water molecules to what they were originally.

Well, does anybody know anybody that has experience with this miracle water wonder???

No, but there are filter dealers in most major cities. Ferreter?a Americana, Ochoa, Bellon, Bordas, Dep?sito Ferretero all carry water filters.
I have one that has never been used, if you want it.

I have a friend in Cabarete who swears by an ultra-violet filter system which I believe he purchased in DR. He actually drinks the water in his house with no ill effects that I have seen. Personally, while I can believe that the ultra-violet is proof against any bacteria in the water, I have read that the high mineral content in the water could still put me at risk for kidney stones. So, for washing vegetables, brushing teeth etc., I think the ultra-violet filter would be worthwhile, but I would still plan to drink bottled water.
