There are many Dominicans in the greater Montreal area especially Montreal North and East. In the North frequent areas/ streets such as Jean Talon Ouest, Beaubien, Papineau, B?langer, Jarry, Cr?mazie, St-Hubert etc. As well if you go to the Merengue festival on the weekend of July 21/22 it well be predominantly Dominican. It's a Dominican sponsored event but I see it as a celebration of Latin culture in general in Montreal. Once the weather is sunny try not to miss it. Here is the link to the current thread.
