seeking volunteer work

I am looking for a good volunteer situation in the DR while recouperating from an automobile accident. I am bi-lingual, english/spanish. I can give 1 or 2 months of my time, and would like to work with children, but I will consider any opportunity. I will provide my own transportation, air and ground, and seek only decent living quarters. I am most comfortable with the North Coast, but, once again, will consider all opportunities.
