The owner Billy has announced the sale of Field of Dreams! Now this is interesting - the BUYER - Crystal - change of hands is June 1st.

The new project is called - Cristal Mustang Ranch Resort. It puts the All Inclusive in All Inclusive.

Their website Cristal MustangRanchResort -An all inclusive, exotic sex holiday, escorts D.R They are having a grande opening special of $179 US per night....... and hey don't worry about double occupancy.........LOL

It will be interesting to see what the hotel association at Playa Dorada says.

Billy will be opening a B&B and his son Chris will be working on a project with Alberto selling some nice apartments in Puerto Plata. I will post more when I have confirmation and details.

They are sinking a lot of money into this, remodelling, expanding etc. Apparently includes transfers to and from Crystal when you go "pick out" your guest for the night.

Thats one shuttle bus that I would like to be a fly on the window for:bunny::bunny:

I don't think the average joe or john hahaha... will want to spend that kinda money to obviously be put into a money trap like that. And the seasoned travellers will know to stay away from that type of hotel.

It will be like the AI charging more money for the same tour you can get on the street cheaper.

Here is what you get for $179 per night.

Standard Single $179 per Night

All inclusive: Room, Breakfast, lunch and dinner, all local drink from 10AM to 12PM and one girl for 4 hours the one of your choice.

This is not a bargain as far as I am concerned. What happens if you want a day of rest without "the girl"?

As long as he can stay open, he will have a waiting list of guys. Look at deals like Cat69. They charge crazy money, but they still find clients.

I hear that guys are paying TOP dollar for eastern-european/russian hookers in the north coast. Something like $500+ a night. Like the movie said "If you build it, they will come"

$3,000 per weekend for the eastern europeans. There are at least 3 houses/resorts operating in the POP/Sosua area with those rates.

Cristal/Mustang Ranch is probably trying to compete with them using Dominican girls and cheaper prices.

Many of these 'Houses' get their business on the internet or through referrels from previous customers.

I'm so excited to hear that there's yet another disgusting sex tourist destination on the north coast. News like this is sure to spur serious investors to the area.

Prediction

The owners of the AI's in Playa Dorada will quash this project. Perhaps it will be a permit problem.

So now what do I do?

So now what do I do?

Hi All,

I have found this forum very helpful, and from reading prior posts, I had decided to stay here. Could someone please recommend a ?plan B??

I?m a young 40?s business man who will be making somewhat frequent trips to the Puerto Plata area. I?m looking for nightlife, chicks, and upscale accommodations to include hi-speed internet, although I could probably compromise on the internet. I need a place to stay as early as 6/10/07.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice,
Dave
