i talked with my friend the general and yes, he is an admiral but, he said it is more respectful to call someone by his rank a general than an admiral. So apologies to all for being so hard headed.

You're too kind, Victor.
As the Cap opened a new thread, one does not see the evidence of how stubbornly he insisted that he was right and everybody else was wrong.
It went on for at least a day, maybe more.
What needs correcting is not that "his friend" is in fact an admiral, and not a general, what needs correcting is the attitude.
Let me hear the Cap say that he has learned a lesson and will not be so rude and obstinent, specially when he is wrong.
That might be a step in the right direction.
Telling us the guy's an admiral means nothing.
We already knew that, and wasted our time trying to get the Cap to understand that.
Heck... All you have to do is Google it up.
You don't need a university degree for something that simple.

Rocky all I was and am saying is that everyone called the general. A rose by another name is still a rose.

I know and understand.
That's why I replied, as I did.
If you were telling us that you were ready to change your attitude, then it would hold value and mean something.
