Depends on whose car you are driving at the time and whether or not they have coverage on that vehicle which would allow you to claim AB coverages. Was a claim ever filed in the DR and was the accident ever reported. Did Iberostar admit fault (on paper)? If not, you would have to look towards your own policy for that. However, most auto policies in North America exclude coverages for accidents occuring in Mexico and other latin american countries unless otherwise stated. You might want to check with your own company in that regard.
