The best way to get there is to go West from Mao a short distance and make a left turn heading South on 18. It is about 40 minutes or less from Mao.
The town is like another world outside of the DR. There is a large dam where you can fish. The town is spotless. For some reason the vast majority of people living there are pure white. Also, for some of the guys, the girls there are beautiful, but not very interested in foreigners.
It is very cool there all the time, as it is on top of a mountain.
