any ideas on where to go for getting bugs screens both fixed and or materials for a diy job....any ideas on costs involved would be appreciated

I bought all the materials I needed at OchoA, don?t remember prices, but it was not really that much. I made my own tool for inserting the retainer material in the slot by drilling a hole in a "Peso" coin and screwing it to a wooden file handle.

Screens.......
These pictures show the metals I used. The square one is 1/2" O.D.
If you are building the screen inside the window opening you need both metals, else you can get away without the 1/2" O.D. square metal.
The rope to hold the screen mesh in place goes in the smaller channel in the above dual channel metal.
Try "Bellon" also for the metals.
