My nephew is becomig a senior in high school and wants to become a surgeon.

I did a little research and found out students fron The USA and other countries can skip 4 years of college & attend medical school in the DR for a fraction of the cost. Then they can start residency in if they can pass their exams in the USA.
Is this accurate?

If so can someone list the schools that teach i English and locations with links if possible?

Thanks

UNIBE does, in Gazcue, Santo Domingo, Universidad Iberoamericana
Among Dominican universities Unibe is know for being expensive and for being a good university (for medicine). The ones that are just known for being good universities, INTEC and PUCMM, teach in Spanish.
