I managed to catch a few heats on Saturday. This guy appeared to be going well.

Rather strangely, I noticed that the number of people who looked at the photos of the Presidente bikini girls is about ten times the number of people who looked at the kite guys. I can't work out why...:cheeky:

Couple of great shots, thanks Keith!
A super talented local won this year for the men's comp.
Brazilian girl won the female's.
Excellent sports on the north coast with top notch, world
class competitors. Next we need triathletes. Notrth coast is
THE ideal location for such. If anyone knows how to organize
such events plz PM me with details. Sponsors are waiting.
Cabarete is calientisimo - hot.
(Don't bother if you're just trying to make a buck, serious
sportmen/women may apply).
Looking for a swim, mountain bike, run adventure for 2008.
Serious people.
Must be accredited....markers acurate, staging secure, etc.

excellent! Like it's not crazy enough?

Eric has some fantastic photos on his Flickr, an excellent photographer.

I'd have loved to have been here earlier and had more time to photograph the competition. I'm heading to Cabarete any minute, so I'll wander down to the beach later to see if the wind is up.
