Just checked Google Earth and guess what?
Apparently they have updated some parts of the DR.
I only zoomed into Santiago and the entire city is now visible. Don't know about other places yet, but those of you waiting for the day that Santiago was going to be entirely visible on Google Earth, well... the day has come.
