Does anybody know how the details of the law affecting imports of renewable energy items apply, and how can take advantage by importing products such as wind turbines, etc. Thanks.

I think it is still stuck in the legislature. Maybe Dolores can correct me on this.

The Great A$$holes that run this country are still playing games. Too many affected interests....generators, inverters, batteries, diesel, etc will all be affected by more renewable energy sources.

Go figure. Let's hope someone has better or more recent news...

Can't wait to see what Hugo Ch?vez will extract for his pound of flesh when the DR realizes it owes billions to him. All he will have to say is NO MORE! And this country will think the bank debacle of years ago was drop in the bucket.

He should acquire enough leverage to nationalize the Hotel industry. Send all those foreigner who invested billions home.

Inverter and battery business will continue and increase, those noise and air polluting generators will be closer to extinct.

Sorry a little off topic, but HB started it.
