Default Automobile End of Model Year Clearance?

In the US right now every dealer is giving $3,000-$10,000 off of the normal automobile price because it is the end of the model year.
Do such sales happen in the DR?

Dealers may tell you that's what they're doing (every day of the year) but that's most likely nothing more than a sales pitch.
Actually, it may indeed play out the other way around: "These are the last ones! The other ones are not that good and will be more expensive, too!"... now that's a deal, ain't it?... Hurry, hurry, before they're all gone!

YES they do - only they raise the price by 3 to 10k, hahhahaha.

    Sorry for that, couldn't resist.

Hey are you in country? Ready for some golf? - I'm ready to try a new golf couse.

Nope, not until Christmas Holidays, 12/19-01/03. We'll try then.

Knowing the owners of the dealerships will get you discounts. Walking off the street and haggling is not that easy

Ain't that the truth! It happened here in the office just this week on a new Daihatsu Terios.
