Hand Luggage Restrictions When Departing The DR

Hi All

When departing Puerto Plata in July I was not permitted to take any quantity of liquids or gels in my hand luggage (despite all other coutries I am aware of now permitting quantities of up to 100ml, including the USA).

Is this still the case today? And does anyone know why the DR stiil enforces a complete liquid and gel ban in hand luggage?

I will be flying out of Santiago next week and just wanted to check in advance.

Thanks for the info - that's exactly what I wanted to hear!

I was suprised when I flew from POP to hear that no liquids or gels were allowed. Anyway, glad it's now changed.
