Mail from Playa Dorada to Canada

I sent some postcards from Playa Dorada while I was in the DR and I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately how long they will take to get to Canada.

I looked at some other forum posts on mail service in the DR and now I'm worried they won't arrive at all!

3 or 4 months if they arrive at all.

It took 3 weeks for post cards that I sent back to Canada. I got home before they did.

Don't hold your breath. I received an Xmas card sent in November in April of this year.

3 or 4 months is about correct. I mailed from the front desk.
I can only imagine how long that mail sat somewhere before someone got of their lazy ass.
