Re: running away from home, HELP!
Hi,
I am surprised at the responses I have found on this message board today. I decided to take a look at DR after an aquaintance mentioned moving there and I realized i knew nothing about it, not even geographic location, so on the Internet I hop and find this message board. I read a couple of nice things about DR, like how wonderful the people are. Then I read other peoples responses and they are extremely rude. I am thinking, these people are wonderful??? I have read almost nothing but bad about DR.. too low wages extremely high cost of living...which really surprises me considering this is a 3rd world country, I mean people are saying it cost more to live there than I need to live comfortably in the US. HMM sounds a little strange to me. I mean why would ANYBODY want to even vacation there??
So tell me is DR really as bad as it sounds?
