since im going for the record number of posts in two minutes....can anyone tell me if there is a book orinternet site which identifies the flowers and weeds (errr wildflowers) of the dominican republic. Ive tried a search but not a lot found for this island.

Will i get more hits if I mention rosemary's baby again ....lol

There is an Academy of Science. There are plenty of botanists. At the PUCMM we have Dr. Richard Lowden, (Ph. D. Ohio U. ), and he is perhaps THE leading botanist in the DR.,

There are books on flowers of all kinds.

just a dominican observers book of weeds would do.....I dont want to take a degree in it jaja

I don't understand why gardening is not so promoted in this country.

well im trying ...but the plants i put in just keep getting smaller and the weeds get bigger
