I am travelling from USA to DR this upcoming Friday the 19th. I have booked the first three nights at Casa Marina Beach And Reef Resort in Sosua. I am staying for 8 nights after that and have not booked any rooms, that is what I seek advice for.

I am a young male, traveling solo, and just planned on relaxing. After my research I have found out I can have a little more fun than just relaxing.

I am looking for recommendations on places to go (casinos, women, bars, discos, fun) I have traveled abroad many times before (not to dr) and am looking to have the most fun possible during this trip.

I have read many posts here to get the hang of things and am just putting my own up to see what kind of recommendations I get.

It is late here in America, and I drank, just a little tonight... :) so excuse me for any typos. I am an international investor, and any good advice I may be able to offer some benefits, so let the discussion begin :)

You might want to read up on the town of Sosua, and maybe book the rest of your trip there. sosua is just down the road from Puerta Plata. It is known for it's nite-life. Sosua has a very nice beach, Sunday is a big Dominican beach day. Lots of great resturants & accomodations. Two or three main discos, action starts around 10pm. One Casino. You won't be disapointed.

While you are staying at the place you reserved go and visit Rocky's. He is centrally located, has good food, beer and nice folks. He also rents rooms, and would be worth a visit.
