Ocean World's 3rd Poker Tournament - December 15, 2007

Ocean World will run satellite tournaments to win a US$500 seat for our December 15th tournament - every Friday night at 9pm until Dec. 14th. The entry fee will be $100. For every $500 in the pool there will be one seat given away. It starts this Friday.
registration starts at 11 am, the tournament starts at noon, play will last into the night, tough to say - depends on the number of entries and tournament play. My estimate is around 11 pm, but remember, you could be knocked out at 12:01 pm!
The maximum number of entries is 100, we had 55 and 67 in the last two tournaments, however, we now have poker rooms running satellites in the Turks and Caicos and also in Santo Dominogo, so there is a chance it will fill up. If you get here by 11 am, you won't have a problem, as half the people tend to sign up the day of the tournament.

We have satellite tournament Friday night 7pm, the main event Saturday 12 noon, a 2nd chance tournament Saturday at 5pm (RD 5,500 to enter), and on Sunday the 'Sunday Special' tournament at 7pm (RD 11K.)
There will be groups of players from the Turks and Caicos and from Santo Domingo in town, it should be a great tournament weekend.
I highly recommend for anybody wishing to play in the main event, to make sure they register by Friday night. Most people wait until the last minute but I got a feeling we will have all 100 spots filled by Saturday morning.

I had a great time playing in the tournaments and the cash game last night although I came up short. Thanks to you and to Gary for running a great operation.
By the way, I was the bald guy in the 10 seat last night who you took a 20k pot away from when you called down my Kings with Ace 10 and spiked an ace on me on the turn. I promise you next time, I will clean both you and Gary out. See you in a couple of weeks

We are pleased to announce our 4th RD$1,000,000 Texas Hold'em Tournament on Saturday March 15, 2008, registration open at 11 am start 12 noon. As always, the entry fee will be RD$15,000. There will satellite tournaments on the 14th starting at 7pm, also a 2nd chance tournament on the 15th at 5pm (RD$5,000 entry fee), for people who get knocked out early. In addition, we will have a RD$10,000 entry tournament on Sunday the 16th, at 7pm. Lots of cash games inbetween with players from the Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Miami, Santo Domingo, Santiago, Punta Cana and the regulars of the North Coast. The entry fee to the main event includes two free tickets to Ocean World Adventure Park and two tickets to the famous Bravissimo Show on top of the casino. Join the fun!
